Due to the recent oil spill, we have been mass producing oil skimmers to help clean it up. As you read this there are hundreds already on the ocean picking up the oil. Within months there will be literally thousands of our skimmers on the ocean.
One of our specializations is custom plastic fabrication. We create special parts or products that you can not simply buy anywhere. Recently someone came in with a need to replace the front window of a 1957 Russian airplane. He showed us the specifications and we manufactured a new window from scratch.
Joe came in needing fenders for the tricycles he manufactures. Joe was making the fender out of metal by hand one at a time. It was taking him over 4 hours to make a set of 3 fenders. Joe had 89 tricycles back ordered because he couldn't produce the fenders fast enough. He had gone to 42 other plastic companies across the county, and no one could produce them. When we told him it was no big deal don't think he believed us. We made drawings from a set of fenders. Then we machined aluminum molds and vacuum formed 100 sets of fenders in less than 30 days. The fenders are one piece with no seams, he just gives them a quick light sanding and they are ready to have one of his incredible paint jobs put on them. The fenders cost less than $40.00 for the set of three.
